This is precisely why we equip our suction excavators with a sophisticated safety infrastructure as standard. Modern safety innovations help to prevent accidents, detect hazards at an early stage and maintain a high level of awareness in the working environment.
A key element here is the optional earthing system. It is specially designed for use in areas with increased safety requirements – for example in refineries, chemical plants or industrial plants with explosion risks. All structural elements are conductively connected to each other via flexible earthing cables.
An earthing cable is routed from the central earthing point to a manually driven earth spike. The integrated monitoring electronics continuously check the quality of the earth connection. The respective status – whether proper function or faulty condition – is clearly and visually displayed to the operating personnel.
