DEFECTIVE SUPPLY LINES

The short-term repair of defective supply lines is a key requirement of many network operators. The complete equipment of the RSP suction excavators in conjunction with a wide range of accessory tools enables them to be used quickly and independently. This means that supply reliability can be restored much more quickly.

WATER

In the event of pipe bursts, the damaged pipe can be exposed even if water continues to escape. The high air flow ensures immediate suction of the escaping water so that repair work can be carried out without any problems. The use of additional waste water pumps is not necessary.

ENERGY AND COMMUNICATION

The consequential costs of damage to the power supply system amount to several million euros every year. The rapid deployment of an RSP suction excavator minimizes repair times and therefore also the consequential costs.

Whether insulation damage or faults in the connecting sleeves, the damaged areas can be probed very quickly and without damage using a suction excavator. The suction airflow itself poses no risk to underground cable systems. Thin power or telecommunication lines offer a small surface area for air attack and therefore a low force effect; large-dimensioned lines and pipes are protected due to their own stability.

GAS

Exposing damaged gas pipes poses an extremely high risk to people and the environment. However, an explosive mixture of gases and ambient air only occurs between 4 and 16 percent gas content. Thanks to the high air flow rate of the suction excavator technology, the possibility of an explosive atmosphere forming is reduced to a minimum, enabling safe working even with leaking gas pipes. An optional gas warning system constantly monitors the gas concentration, which further contributes to work safety.
