We build suction excavators for you with passion. Being close to our customers is particularly important to us. It still characterizes the philosophy of our company today. Our goal is close cooperation with our customers. It forms the ideal basis for effective cooperation, which has developed into a genuine partnership with many of our customers. We want to continue to inspire our customers in the future with new ideas and high-quality, technically advanced products.

2023

  • RSP celebrates its 30th anniversary with a gala in the Erfurt exhibition hall. Over 1000 people attend.
  • Expansion of the service network with our own location in the Rhine-Ruhr region (Langenfeld).
  • Move to the new production facility in Bad Langensalza
  • Change of name from RSP to the legal form GmbH & Co. KG

2022

  • RSP France is expanding its site. New warehouse, office and workshop space is also being added.
  • The vacuum suction specialist Amphitec from the Netherlands becomes part of the Group.
  • RSP is presenting numerous innovations at the “bauma” world trade fair:
    ESE E – the world’s first fully electric suction excavator, ESE S – stationary suction system, ESE 6 – next generation of the world’s best-selling suction excavator

2021

  • Expansion of the plant areas in Saalfeld, Camburg and Drusenheim (France)
  • 200. suction excavator produced in Aschara
  • SMC Steffen and Dobrowolski become part of the group of companies
  • Jens Graber retires from the management board after 28 years – the 1st generation change at RSP has thus been successfully completed

  • Move to the new company headquarters in Saalfeld

  • Suction excavator with second hydraulic arm

  • Delivery of the first suction excavator to China
  • RSP celebrates its 25th anniversary

  • RSP expands its sales territory to the USA

2016

  • Establishment of our own branch in England
  • Presentation of the ESE 8 series at Bauma

  • Expansion of the sales territory to include Israel, Romania and New Zealand

  • Development and construction of the first ESE 18/4 with a width of 2.30 m

  • Delivery of the first RSP suction superstructure for the GOTTHARD tunnel driven by an electric motor
  • RSP delivers the 100th RSP suction excavator
  • Delivery of the first “1+1” double fan (40,000 Pa)

2002

  • RSP expands its sales territory to the Netherlands and Belgium
  • Delivery of the first suction excavator to the Netherlands
  • Development of the fully hydraulically guided articulated hose carrier

2001

  • Delivery of the first RSP suction excavator with hydraulically driven fan
  • Joint development with French company Marais, suction excavator with rear milling wheel for cable laying
  • Development and construction of the “Leonardo” special suction system for Venice

2000

  • Production and delivery of the new RSP suction excavator with the name ESE (European Suction Excavator) and creation of new patents for this type
  • Development and delivery of Europe’s first suction excavator with double fan
  • Delivery of the first RSP suction excavator with high-speed single fan (22,000 Pa)
  • Delivery of the first suction excavator with rail-mounted chassis
  • RSP expands its sales territory to Italy

1999

  • Development of the internationally patented ESE suction principle
  • Delivery of first suction excavator to Italy

1998

  • Acquisition of the property “Zum Silberstollen 10” and extension of a production hall
  • RSP expands its sales territory as the first foreign agency to France, and the first machine delivery to France also takes place

  • Participation in first foreign trade fair – Big 5 in Dubai

  • Relocation to a separate production hall with a small office

  • Foundation of the company RSP GmbH
